The first green building in Fairfield County has been opened by Davis Marcus Partners in Wilton.

The 161,222-square-foot, three-story building is located at 40 Danbury Road in the Wilton Corporate Park. The first tenant in the new building will be agricultural and energy trading company Louis Dreyfus Corp., which will occupy the entire top floor, a total of 57,000 square feet.

"Forty Danbury Road is the only new Class A office building in Fairfield County designed to meet the U.S. Green Building Council's Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification and has been designed with judicious use of proven green technologies and great consideration for environmental sustainability," said David Fiore, senior vice president for Davis Marcus Partners.
