W. Brewster Earle, Hartford-based president of Comfort Systems USA Energy Services of Houston, has been named the first chairman of the Associated Builders and Contractors newly formed National Green Building Committee.
Comfort Systems is a green-certified HVAC company. Bill Murdy, the company’s chairman and CEO, said supporting Earle in his new endeavor was a natural fit for the company.
“In a typical building, the HVAC system is the largest user of energy, commonly accounting for half of the energy usage of large facilities,” Murdy said. “Our support for Brewster is a logical extension of our commitment to having unmatched green building expertise and credentials.”
