Mike Travers, an agent at Jack Conway Realtors in Bridgewater, has been named 2008 Realtor of the Year by the Tri-County Board of Realtors.
Realtor of the Year is the highest honor the board bestows upon one of its members.
The Tri-County Board of Realtors currently has members in 36 towns spanning parts of Norfolk, Plymouth and Bristol counties.
The award is presented annually to a Realtor nominated by his peers and then selected by an impartial committee. The committee takes into consideration the member’s involvement in civic affairs and participation in local, state and national committees. They also consider the member’s spirit and business accomplishments.
Travers is a longtime resident of East Bridgewater and the former president of the Tri-County board. He joined Conway in 1999 after more than 20 years as a home improvement contractor.
