The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate in the Bay State rose last week, ending the week at 5.10 percent, compared to 4.98 percent the week prior, according to online mortgage tracker Zillow.
The average rate in Massachusetts is slightly above than the average rate nationwide of 5.07 percent.
Rates on 30-year fixed mortgages were lowest in the states of Georgia (4.92 percent) and Arizona (4.95 percent), while Illinois (5.28 percent) and Virginia (5.18 percent) had the highest rates, Zillow said.
