TD Banknorth expanded its Hyannis and Groveland branches by adding a business banking officer and branch manager, respectively.

Eleanor C. Weller was tapped from Rockland Trust Co., where she was a senior loan officer. Weller will bring her 10 years of experience to TD Banknorth’s Hyannis office as its business banking officer, handling loans, deposits and commercial real estate financing.

Meanwhile, the company’s Groveland branch has a new head honcho. Karen E. Sacco has been named business development and sales manager and, according to a press release, she will manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, developing and overseeing small business loans, deposit accounts, consumer lending, investment and insurance services. Sacco has more than 25 years of banking experience, including lastly serving as a community banking officer at Sovereign Bank in Sterling.
