Dulce Almeida has been promoted as assistant treasurer and human resources manager, and Nelson Tavares has been hired as a branch manager at Fairhaven-based First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union.

Taveres has been named manager of the south branch location at 1341 Cove Road in New Bedford. Tavares is responsible for retail sales, staff development and branch operations management, which also includes community relations.

Almeida began her banking career at First Citizens’, and has served in various capacities for more than 10 years, most recently in human resources.
