Julieann M. Thurlow, president and chief executive officer of Reading Co-operative Bank, was recently appointed to serve as a member of the newly created Task Force on Regulatory Reform in Washington, D.C., by the American Bankers Association.
The Task Force will develop policy recommendations essential to sustaining a vibrant banking sector suited to banks of all sizes and charter types. Following the initial development of this framework, the Task Force will remain active as the primary discussion group to assess any future reform proposals put forward by legislators and regulators, according to a press release issued by Reading Co-operative Bank.
