The board of directors of Lowell-based Enterprise Bancorp declared a quarterly dividend of $.09 per share to be paid on Dec. 1 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 10.

The quarterly dividend represents a 12.5 percent increase over the 2007 dividend rate, the bank said.
Enterprise Bancorp conducts most of its operations through Enterprise Bank and Trust Co., commonly referred to as Enterprise Bank.
