Pamela J. Bishop has joined the Newburyport-based Institution for Savings as assistant vice president of commercial lending.

Bishop will work with other members of the bank’s commercial lending team at its newly launched commercial lending center located within the bank’s branch office at 312 Haverhill St. in Rowley.

Before coming to the Institution for Savings, Bishop held a similar position at Provident Bank in Amesbury. Previously, she was a senior credit analyst at the former First & Ocean National Bank in Newburyport.

Pam joins other members of the Institution for Savings’ commercial lending staff, including Senior Vice President Karen MacCormack, Vice President David Boudreau, and Lending Administrators Lisa Kriz and Kate Bauer.
