The new Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance (MAHA) homeownership center in Dorchester will be dedicated to Robert Sheridan and his wife, Jean O’Hara Sheridan, at MAHA’s “Raise the Roof” event tonight at University of Massachusetts Boston’s Campus Center.
 
Robert Sheridan is president and chief executive officer of The Savings Bank Life Insurance Co. of Massachusetts.  He has served as chairman of the capital campaign to raise funds for the construction of MAHA’s new building on Dorchester Avenue, which was recently completed.  Proceeds from the “Raise the Roof” event will benefit the capital campaign.

The Robert and Jean Sheridan Homeownership building was designed by Studio G Architects of Jamaica Plain, and built by Lee Kennedy & Co. of Quincy.
