Framingham construction management firm Perini Corp. has completed its acquisition of Tutor-Saliba Corp., a civil engineering services firm.
In connection with the closing, Perini amended its articles of organization to increase the number of authorized shares of Perini common stock and issued 23 million shares of Perini common stock to the former shareholders of Tutor-Saliba in the merger.
“Today marks the beginning of an exciting new era for Perini, an era in which we intend to capitalize on the additional resources, personnel and expertise we are adding through this transaction to create additional value for Perini shareholders,” said Ronald N. Tutor, chairman and chief executive officer of Perini and the principal shareholder of Tutor-Saliba.
