Gary Coltin has joined Amesbury-based The Provident Bank’s executive team as senior vice president of retail banking, marketing and public relations.

Coltin, a Newburyport native, has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry.

Prior to joining The Provident Bank, he held a number of senior-level positions including executive vice president of consumer banking at Cambridge Savings Bank and senior vice president in the retail banking division at Eastern Bank, where he managed a network of 55 branches.
