Woburn-based Cummings Properties is developing a 63,000-square-foot speculative office building in Sudbury.
The building is being constructed on the firm’s North Road campus. According to company officials, Cummings can afford the project despite the state of the economy because of its ability to build without requiring external financing. The project is expected to be completed in the fall.
“This is the first speculative project in Sudbury in at least a dozen years,” said Eric Anderson, vice president of leasing.
